Nicole Masnicak (pronounced Mass-nih-kak; or take your chances of pronouncing Masničák if you’re feeling bold) is a writer based in the Philadelphia area. She has a BA in English from Boston University and is currently working toward her MFA in Creative Writing at Rosemont College.
The child of Czechoslovak immigrants, Nicole draws inspiration from her family and their friends. Her fiction often focuses on Slavic history and culture.
